Being originally Indian

Jaipur is the home to the world famous glazed blue-pottery. Blue Pottery came to India from Persia originally and was adapted quickly by the royalty because of its exquisite colur, delicacy and traditional motifs. Originally available only in blue, modern techniques and colors now can produce it in green and yellow as well. The process is long, involving creating molds of each shape, pouring clay mixture in to them, drying them, hand painting on them and then finally firing them in the kiln to produce the precise glaze and colors.
